Gamble Skateboards had a unique idea, they put a silver coating over all of their boards so you have to ride it to see the graphic underneath. This was my first chance to design a deck, and this french company seemed the perfect place to start. I worked on a fruit machine motif with type and iconography from gambling practice. My boards arrived covered in silver, I spent hours scratching it off, I’m definitely no skateboarder.
